My Abyss subwoofer squeaks on heavy/loud bass hits. This squeak very clearly is coming from the rubber footing/grommit set up that the subwoofer sits on. I recently switched it over to sitting on the spikes hoping to eliminate this noise, but it didn't help. If I press down on the top of the subwoofer, the noise goes away completely as there is more weight holding the subwoofer onto the rubber base. Has anyone had this problem? How did you resolve it?

try cracking tighter the inserts that the feet and spikes screw into. they are threaded into the cabinet/wood.

Just a quick update here... I couldn't get the squeak to go away without serious weight added to the top of the sub while it was in downfiring configuration. In front firing configuration, there is no squeak. Front firing it is, I guess.
