Just hooked my SL3's

My question is even when unplugged I get music out of them. I bought them used and received only the speaker. SO I am lost. Any help?

Well, the woofer part will ALWAYS make sound, it does not have to be plugged in. The Stator once charged will maintain a charge and thus produce SOME sound for awhile too...not sure for how long, but it would not surprise me if it were for at least a few minutes...
