Helos 100 in a box?

I have some Helos 100s to use a the rear speakers in my living room 5.1 system. This is on the first floor and I have 2" x 12" supporting the second floor. Should I fab up a box for these to sit in so the sound will not bounce around through this whole cavity?
I am new to ML world.
