Hi there!

I've got my ESL for about 5-6 years now and tonight when i started listening i noticed that one speaker wasnt playing.

I checked the rear and saw that the blue power led wasnt lightup.

I checked a bit and found that the dc chassis connector in the speaker was defective. What seem to me like a cold solder point as when i bend the connector the power led light up...

I checked a bit but found no screw at all!!!

How do we remove the connection panel?

It is an easy fix? (Im a technician with solid soldering skill!)

Thanks a lot for your input guys!!!

Cheers from Canada!!!
Fred

Hi Fred, Sounds like you are on the right path. Not sure if any of the regulars have an Electromotion ESL, so firsthand info will likely be slow to show up, so the quickest path would be to call the factory service line and ask them for advice on opening the unit and possibly a schematic to help you locate things.

Please keep us posted of the outcome of your repair on this thread.

Cheers,
