BTW: saw some Olive HDs at the show - various models. All very nice, I thought.

I was all set to pull the trigger on Olive's 06HD... waiting as they trickled the info out during pre-announcement... then the double whammy... grotesque industrial design and ridiculous price (seriously, it's a pig IMO). I quickly came to the conclusion that the 04HD with it's far more palatable aesthetics and basically exactly same functionality (save the enhanced analog outs) was the easy choice. Especially when married to the W4S DAC2.

WRT spending money on hi-fi, I like to think for the 35 odd years I've been into it, I know how to "get there" economically. Course I could have bought some CLXs, but that'd be cheating... the road to enlightenment is a long and hard one, grasshopper Bernard. But with a little knowledge pennies can go a long way...

Anyway, I think I like Pornographer better than User211. Infact, I prefer "The Pornographer". But actually, Charlie Sheen is looking cool for a handle... possibly the world's best male fast lane livin' individual at the mo. Prostitutes, wild cocaine parties, $2,000,000 an episode... nice. Rock on Charlie.:rocker::rocker: But dammit, the idiot, he seems to have messed up my fave TV series. No respect for that!:devil:

That's my fave TV series too. I was watching an interview with the man this morning. Comes across as an idiot. For that many clams an episode you would think he would get his act together.
