It is that time of year again. Should be there this weekend with the notably downmarket pornograph I've always used here. Let's hope this cheap slut of a camera takes some nice 'n' sleezy shots... but the old girl is a bit variable, so finger's crossed.

Here are the Bristol Exhibitors. Looks pretty good. No MLs/Krell/Audio Research etc as I can't see that Absolute Sounds, the importer/distributor/big margin+ merchants are involved this year.

Also, an upcoming no trade enthusiast only event is being held soon, and I'll be there too: Scalford Hi-Fi Show. May post a few pics & comments on that.

Request noted Todd. At least we know the ML CLX won't form one of the worst three systems.:ROFL: Was that even vaguely funny? No, probably not!

The truth is we went on a massive camera battery hunt in Dubai, thinking it would be easy - but we couldn't get one anywhere. I'd have missed the show trying to find one, I expect.

Spending Todd's or anyone else's money is easy. We all do it here all the time. In any case, the man does own a pair of very pricey CLX, so he does have deep pockets, presumably.

But I expect that finding a battery in Bristol would be different from finding one in the wilds of Dubai. Mind you, I've never been to Dubai, except for one occasion 30 years ago, when my plane from Paris stopped there briefly.

WRT spending money on hi-fi, I like to think for the 35 odd years I've been into it, I know how to "get there" economically. Course I could have bought some CLXs, but that'd be cheating... the road to enlightenment is a long and hard one, grasshopper Bernard. But with a little knowledge pennies can go a long way...

Anyway, I think I like Pornographer better than User211. Infact, I prefer "The Pornographer". But actually, Charlie Sheen is looking cool for a handle... possibly the world's best male fast lane livin' individual at the mo. Prostitutes, wild cocaine parties, $2,000,000 an episode... nice.
