I own and love the Electromotion ESL. I have heard heard the Vistas and there is just something about the bass with the EM's that I prefer over the Vista. Otherwise, I feel that they are pretty comparable.

I have the Feature for my center and I think it is a great speaker. The Feature replaced an Encore ATF. The Encore was a good speaker, but it is not in the same league as an ESL. I would go with an ESL center. I have Electromotion ESL's for my mains and the Feature is a great match for them.

I'd love to have the pro kit! But, my avr doesn't support it and I can't afford a new one at the moment. : (

Thanks. I believe it defaults to re-eq off when in the music mode. Now if I could only find a way to remove the midrange compensation. : )

Couldn't agree more with the two previous posts. I love mine! I am running them on an Onkyo TX-NR1007 with no issues.

Have you tried going into your processor and lowering the LFE by -10? You could be experiencing a doubling of the LFE by having both the player and processor adding it back in.

Dynesuffer, I see that you also own Prefaces and Encores. Are you still using them in your system? If so, for what purpose and how do they blend with the Electromotions?

I've seen some preliminary reviews online from those that heard them at CEDIA and CES and they all seem very positive. Most have said that they held their own against the Theos and the new Summit XJR. One reviewer even said that he preferred the Electromotion to the Theos.

Now that I decided on the Ethos, the question is do I incorporate any of my current speakers or just wait until I can add better speakers that more closely match the Ethos? I plan to add the Stage, Depth and Motion FX as funds allow. What order would you guys add them?

Thanks! That was just the validation that I needed!! If I get the best I possibly can afford, I won't be wishing for anything more. At least not for awhile anyway. :D So it looks like I start with the Ethos and build my system around them.
