Brand new Masterpiece ESL 9 level difference in left right channel

Does anyone know if @Ishaansuri resolved his Masterpiece ESL 9 issues? Just curious as to the final chapter, and if the speakers are now repaired or replaced...?

Making Vantage Sealed Box (Port Plug) Question

Since the Vantage speakers use transmission line loading, I wouldn't block the "port". But, many transmission line designs do use stuffing in the line for tuning and bass damping. As such, maybe order a bag of Acousta-Stuf polyfill from Parts Express. I would gradually add the polyfill (shove...

    Humming Sound C18

A video ground loop can make for very loud, nasty hum. I'm glad to hear that you've resolved the issue. There used to be a couple of different audiophile humbuster boxes available, but no longer. Pro audio has a few that could work for a stereo system, using adapters.

    Replacing caps in SL3s.

My EM-ESL's use Mylar 22uF and 39uF caps. Electrolytic caps are 68uF and 180uF. So, I "assume" the Mylar capacitors are series caps, and the electrolytics are shunts? I wish I could find a crossover schematic to confirm that guess? I'm replacing the 22 with the Mundorf Supreme EVO Oils, and...

    Replacing caps in SL3s.

I'm a big fan of the Mundorf EVO Oil caps. I've used them in a number of speaker rebuilds. I've always found them very clean and transparent, with a palpable presence in the midrange. All of my old Acoustic Research speakers now use them. I'm also recapping my ML EM-ESL's now, and I'm using...

    ESL with a problem

I'm glad to hear that the issue was something as simple as a power supply board. I've had to replace the same board in one of my EM-ESL's. But, my panel was completely dead, so easier to troubleshoot...! :D

A Sincere From My Heart Question Regarding the Future of ML ESL

I've seen flash-in-the-pan speaker companies, receive rave reviews in the press, only to implode due to lack of production capabilities, and not keeping up with demand. Martin Logan ESL's are more or less hand built. Not a speedy process. As such, I don't think Martin Logan wants or needs too...

A Sincere From My Heart Question Regarding the Future of ML ESL

Still not working...! "Page not found The requested page could not be found." Since your link worked for you, can't you repost the content, or recap what the post referenced?

    New CLS Owner

It's good to hear that the panels are starting to come alive...! I wonder if the power supplies would benefit from a recap? Still, it sounds as if the power supply caps are reforming, so you should be good for now.

    EFX crossover repair

The coils don't need to be beautiful, but the winding shouldn't be loose. So, if needed, I'd contact Martin Logan support for either new inductors, or the crossover schematic for the EFX speakers. Match inductance and resistance as closely as possible. If you can't get the exact coils through...

    EFX crossover repair

You can't salvage the inductors that broke off? Unwind a turn to get a useable wire to resolder? As to matching new inductors, there's basically inductance and resistance, that needs to be matched. Matching inductance is fairly easy, since it's usually a known value. But, resistance can vary...

    ReQuest Melted Crossover Inductor

That's an ugly failure. Hopefully, ML Support will help make it right? Just in case, if you need to order new inductors, from the schematic, Erse Audio is back in business, as U.S. Coils. A very decent range of available gauges and values. https://uscoils.us/

    Dealer closing sale

Even Crutchfield sells the Gaia III footers for the same $200 price, with free shipping too. But, IsoAcoustics doesn't automatically include the correct threaded inserts for ML speakers. You have to make a special request to the dealer for them. That bums me out a bit...!

From Theos to Montis, goodbye Magnepans.

The last time I listened to Magnepans, it was years ago. It was a pair of III series Maggie's, with the ribbon tweeters. A new speaker for my local dealer, so the they went all out with set up, dedicating them to their own room, with top Audio Research tube gear. Well, on first listen...

From Theos to Montis, goodbye Magnepans.

I never knew the quasi ribbon panels had delamination issues too...! I thought the flat wire had improved the drivers, and I was hoping that design was more robust...! A shame. Good luck with the ML Montis 'upgrade'. Glad to hear you both like them. :)

    Prodigy Improvements and Upgrades

I've never had a speaker recap that didn't result in an improvement in sound. That includes recapping old and new speakers. It just takes higher quality parts, that are an upgrade over stock. Currently, I'm recapping my ElectroMotion ESL's. Stock caps were standard Mylar caps, and Bennic...

Need help finding a TV stand.

If it will let you, I'd slide the center brace to butt against one side of the center speaker. That should still supply enough support for the projector. Oh, the stand is much less expensive in the Amazon link I added.

Need help finding a TV stand.

You could cut the legs to match the correct height.

Need help finding a TV stand.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B097R1DRRB/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza?th=1 Here's another one. 21X70X15.5. But, the legs can be left off, to lower the height, and the center shelf is adjustable. Or you can leave it out.
