    Hello, and happy listening!

Well, you have a nice system there. But resurrect your CLS'S and make them sing!

Happy owner of CLSIIZ anc CLX ART

We can say it's a kind of mechanical crossover.

Yes the strings are same lenght, but when you move the fingers up and down the guitar neck you set a constraint on the length of the string that can vibrate freely. If you move the hand up the frequency is lower, down is higher. That is exactly what i meant. A shorter free string reproduces...

The principle is the same of a guitar string. The longer is the portion of unconstricted string, lower are the frequencies it produces and it can produce. For panels is the same. The bass panel has non divisions, so you can think to it like a long 1.4 meters string, while the higher and mid are...

    Upgrade for my VPI (tonearm/cartridge)

I checked the compatibility between the cartridges and my ARM. They all fall in the 8-11 HZ range with the JMW 12.5. So compliance is not a problem. My question is if a higher quality ARM would be better to unleash the full potential of hig level cartridges.

Betters the CLS in all aspects. The most important is bass range. Really no need of subwoofers anymore. Other big improvement are dynamics. Now the slam is there.

thank you guys. @Robert nice to hear you enjoyed travelling in Italy. Sometimes as italians we tend to forget the huge amount of Art and History that this country has, Art which is most of time very badly "managed". We should take a better care of our heritage. In some way also Venice without...

Reviews - what can be trusted?

I can only talk about CLSIIZ and CLX. The later is a real improvement while keeping all the characteristics of full range panels. Bass is much better than the the one of CLSIIz (which by the way are still excellent speakers, in my opinion), deeper , tight without any feeling of swelling , mid...

    Krell 400cx

Still an excellent amplifier and a perfect match for all ML speakers. I cannot hear real differences between my KSA 100S and my FPB300CX. I imagine it's the same for the KSA200S.

    Upgrade for my VPI (tonearm/cartridge)

I'm looking for suggestions to upgrade mi VPI TNT V-HR, JMW 12.5, Benz Micro. On your opinion changing the cartridge is enough to make a substancial improvement, or the tonearm also needs to be upgraded? In case i'll love to hear some suggestions for Tonearms and Cartridges. Price is not a problem.
