Aerius active crossover and more project

I hope I posted all the necessary photos. I'm happy to post any more if necessary. I really appreciate the help Jonathan and I hope I didn't bombard you with more info than you needed... or offend you by my lack of knowledge with electrical engineering! :)

Aerius active crossover and more project

I'm guessing this is where the high voltage board is getting its ground. One of these is going to the panel junction block and the other is coming from the other side of the step up transformer?

Aerius active crossover and more project

Another branch goes through some coils?, capacitors? and resistors? and connects thru a resistor? to something that the signal is connected to? I can post more detailed photos of this path if it's important.

The ground is a lot more confusing to me. It starts at the binding post and then branchs here One of those goes to the step up transformer?

Yellow signal wire going directly to passive crossover? Then out of the passive crossover to the step up transformer?

Grey Music Sensor wires... leave these alone.

Here's the schematic that Martin Logan gave me. I'm guessing this is everything that needs to get bypassed so maybe this isn't that helpful

Aerius active crossover and more project

Where I could really use some help is with the ESL crossover bypass. Jonathan, I've studied the schematic for your rebuild but the differences between the wiring on my Aerius are just enough to confuse me. I've got the schematic for the Aerius from ML and I can provide any necessary pics from...

(Keeping one untouched to use...

Not original double stick tape on stators and missing Velcro. Guess these have been worked on at least once.

Aerius active crossover and more project

I've been making some progress! Took Jonathan's advice and ordered the dbx driverack venu360 Ordered new woofers ScanSpeak 22W/4534G00 Washed the panels... anyone ever have their panels separate at the sides? One of my panels seems to be delaminating. The front was separating from the back...

Jonathan... WOW! What an amazing project. I hope my little project is half as successful as yours. Having you as a cheerleader will certainly help! Just watched a few promo videos for the DBX DriveRack Venu360. Looks like a great piece of kit. I had been contemplating a miniDSP DDRC-24. Partly...

Aerius active crossover and more project

I'm just getting started on reconditioning and upgrading my first pair of Martin Logan speakers. I bought them used in 1999. Up until a few months ago I was using them as rears in a 5.1 setup. I was going to sell them, but I decided I wanted a vintage 2ch setu... I always wanted to run them with...

    Hi everyone!

I've been lurking on this forum for years and just recently started posting... I'm Spencer. I started my Martin Logan addiction in 1999 with two used pairs of Aerius. I ran them for years without a center until I bought a cinema. Ran that system for over a decade. I've made a few upgrades since...

    Aerius (not i) woofer replacement

I just stumbled on this thread because I'm thinking of going active xo with my Aerius. I wanna run monoblocks tubes for the panels and a stereo solid state amp for the woofers. I'd love to hear suggestions on active crossovers and explanations of what I need to do to bypass the passive ox as...
