Spike I am interested in your Tubed amp for the panel and solid state for the woofer aproach. I would expect the MLs will sound great with the tubed amp. Did you need to do anything special to get the panel and woofer to play in phase with this configurtion? THank You Larry

Spike Yes the Amp/preamp is next on the upgrade list. However the checkbook needs to recover from buying the vistas, Depth, and Pro150FD first. I may try a tube amp. I like your concept of a tube amp om the panel and solid state on the woofer. I recently moved to MT from Cupertino. Larry

Dave I have an inexpensive QED battery powered unit. However it sounds very nice especially for the money. I think it benefits from the clean battery power. I have been considering a new Phono-Pre and may try a tube unit. I tube Phono-pres I have heard seem to sound good with the vinyl. Larry
