sent off a email and did a audio sample

I just got a motion vision sound bar and noticed with no signal being played there is a high pitch sound of some kind coming out of the far left side of it. if I turn the volume up or down this sound goes up or down. I unplugged everything but the power cord and still hear the sound. Wondering...
