Hello everyone from a new member in Sweden

My son uses the Aerius speakers with a pair of ML Dynamo 300 subs. It sounds great. In fact, it was my system for years before I upgraded!

Another Martin Logan price increase coming August 1st.

I spoke w/ML’s tech who told me they don’t inventory the older model panels, but build them AFTER they are ordered and paid for. I imagine this will continue.

Discussion About the Differences Between Different Panel Sizes

I had the same reaction, when I added a Dynamo 500 to my Aerius stats. I thought they sounded great already, but the sub filled in the bottom end nicely. (My son now has that stuff set-up in his condo and loves it, although his neighbors don’t). I moved up to the ReQuests, which don’t need a...

    ML Ascent Amplifier

I would consider the Parasound Halo Hint 6 integrated amp, which has plenty of features and comes in at $2999. I would also consider going with separates, because it makes the upgrade path easier.

    ReQuest bass performance

I recently came to the opposite conclusion. I have previously supplemented my Quest Z’s with different subs, including several different Martin Logan models, as well as other brands. This led to much tinkering with the crossovers, volume level and placement. I was frequently getting up from my...

Video of your system playing music

Looks like your dog enjoys them, too😀 The Aerius was my first ML’s too, very similar to your experience. I owned a pair of stand-mounted speakers that had limited range (Spica TC-50) and after a year or so, returned to the dealer thinking perhaps a subwoofer would help. He demoed the “just in”...

Very nice! SRV’s guitar sounds superb - one of the greats, who I miss. Also, the video screen seems to be a custom fit within the molding.

    Hello Martin Logan Lovers

Cool set-up, Lightloopy. I’ll bet those VTL mono blocks really light up those CLS speakers, which are power hungry.

LOL. My wife is very tolerant, at least when it comes to audio/video equipment.

    Hello Martin Logan Lovers

As I mentioned in a previous post, I had both the Aerius and Apogee Slant 6 speakers prior to getting Quest Z’s. Anyone else have experience with these, or with Apogee in general? I have a pic attached. My observations to follow. (BTW, I still have these speakers).

    Hello Martin Logan Lovers

I totally agree. I have auditioned all the successor models (Prodigy, Summit, etc.) and while they do bass better, I can’t justify the extra $$$ on that basis.

    New panels

Glad to hear it. I have Quest Z’s and may have the same issue at some point. My understanding is that the good news is that new panels are not very difficult to install. The bad news is that they are a slightly different color (brownish) which may not compliment my all black speakers. can you...

    Did the sound improve?

    Hello Martin Logan Lovers

These are the 2nd pair of Quest Z’s that I have owned. The first pair I sold to my brother back in the 1990’s, when I moved to a house with a smaller listening room. I listened to Aerius speakers for years, which I switched once for Apogee Slant 6’s, which are also very good. For amps, I have...

    Hello Martin Logan Lovers

Hi all, I hope the uploads of my ReQuests come out ok. That’s my cuz, Pete, standing with them. He is blown away listening to them. I am, too, with all the Martin Logan products I have owned, starting with a pair of Aerius back in 1993. I will be talking with you soon Racero
