So, an update...
Interesting that the red led doesn't come on, because that signal would also force the HV off, which in my case isn't happening, and when I bypass the amplifier by disconnecting it's output and plugging the speakers into one of my standalone amps they work and continue to work...
So I've gotten the bottom of one of the issues with my set, and replaced the B&O icepower board, however oddly enough now, both speakers demonstrate the same issue.
When I first turn them on the led goes red for a short time, then goes blue, music starts playing and then within a second they...
So, Scott from ML has been extremely useful sending me documentation and circuit diagrams to diagnose the issues.
Firstly I've discovered that the IcePower 200ASC in the unit has blown a transformer, capacitor and resistor, known issue so not overly bothered by that. My current thoughts are to...
Cheers for that, I have contacted ML, so looking forward to their responses.
Worst case, I'm debating rebuilding the internal electronics and making some custom speakers using the ML chassis, panels and ESL circuitry, depending on how I get on. :)
Greetings,
Recently acquired a starter set of ML Purity's. One was working, and the other will require work, so looking at my options with regards that. The one that was working won't turn on, but definitely heard it before taking them home.
I shall be research through here.
