Hello, I have a pair of Martin Logan Ehtos, Stage X, and Motion 15's. I'm thinking of getting an Emotiva XPR-5 to power them. Is this a good Amp to power them? Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Generally speaking, it is advisable to use an amp that doubles its output power with every halving of impedance when driving electrostatic speakers. This amp doesn't do that. So I wouldn't advise it for ML's. It will probably work fine if you don't push it, but those times when you do push it, it won't necessarily sound so good. A lot depends on whether you are more concerned with home theater effects or with high end stereo sound.
