Got a bit inspired by this thread so I just ordered one set of each.
Got my Stereo for $175 and mono for $200. Bought two of each...one for use and one to be left sealed.
I purchased the mono set from Music Millenium this morning on their website. I received an e-mail later in the day confirming my order and they actually gave me a better price than that listed on the website which came out to $228.99 with Priority mail shipping.
When at looked on Elusive Disc this morning it was almost double that price, so thanks Jeff for the tip.
I thinks these are imports from other Countries thus the high cost. The Mono CDS can be had on the best buy website as an import for $563.00. Looks like prices are going UP, UP and UP.
I just checked ebay and I see one bid for the mono set is up to $401.00. This is strange bucause I see another one for a Buy it now price of $399.00.
Yep, those are different sets, not the one you want.
Also, EMI just announced that there will be another run of the mono and stereo box sets, so don't pay a penny over sticker for these, there will be more!
It's not "My Music Fix" is it?
That guy has the most insane prices. He's charging $70 for in stock in print MoFi stuff that you can buy at Music Direct for $30...
Crazy!
It's not "My Music Fix" is it?
Based on this post here by Cherian back on 7/16/09, I pre-ordered the stereo box set from Elusive Disc at their $207.99 special. I'm really glad that I did, and I got the notice yesterday that it has been shipped. :rocker:
Just as an aside, I was still in high school when the Beatles hit the scene. I'm not sure those of you that didn't live through those tumultuous 60's can understand what the Beatles meant to my generation, and I know I'm not alone in strongly associated their music with those years. I and my wife will probably consume quite a bit of wine and have some very nostalgic listening sessions with this box set.
Glad to hear it, I think you will really enjoy them!
