here's a question...i'm trying to decide between a demo (with warranty) Musical Fidelity A1008 (250W) which has tubes in the preamp for $3,000
versus a Simaudio I7 (150W) for about $4300 without warranty.
It seems the Sim is only one box while the A1008 has two boxes.
The Sim is less power hungry but it doesn't appear it's a huge issue
based on your responses. I'm trying to decide today. By the way,
I have Spires and A5 CD player, so the MF 1008 remote will work my
A5 CD as well.
