Speaker Spikes for Aeons?

I am looking to add speaker spikes for an old pair of Aeons, contacted ML directly and total price would be over $200 with shipping, wildly high for speakers this old. Through this forum I found oregondv.com which has these available for about 1/10th of the price:

Was wondering if anyone has thoughts on whether or not these would get the job done for the Aeons?

Order the spike with the same thread size that's on your speaker.

I'm pretty sure the thread on the Aeon's is 1/4-20, at least that is what the OregonDV site suggests, is there a resource that can tell me for certain?
