Sound Improvement : Bi-wire with separate runs & dedicated power cables

I know this subject has been done to death or near death but I moved from a single run with jumpers to separate actual runs for biwire and found a significant improvement in presence of height/depth of image. It might be because my SL3s use the external amplifier for driving the woofer rather than internal Class D like for some of the newer models.

Anyhow something for old skool ML users.

I also found using JPS Aluminata powerchord also helped with more solidity and tone of image.

It shows for a 15year old speaker (SL3) with a thoroughbred design, ML epitomises everything I hold valuable in product developmental and applicational approach.

better yet, put a couple more of those amps in there and biamp instead of biwire :rocker:

Sure, good point, though I think with the extra cost of a pair of MXR's I would most probably go for a pair of Summit X's and sell the biwire spare cable.
