I covered the CLX's and the Spires so they can not see the blasphemous
ones in the listening room.

I've always had a 'soft spot' for Maggies ! and man just add a nice sub to those babies and you've got a real sweet package for sure !

Using em with a Descent i right now, not bad at all! Tried the Grotto i earlier in the day and that's definitely a nice match that is certainly a little more cost effective! Not a bad budget speaker combo for $2800....

Very different from the ML sound though.

Sometimes a change is as good as a rest.

I think it's nice to take a step down sometimes to hear what less costly systems can actually do. The results are often surprisingly good.
