I am collecting Estat speakers... my issue is My left drum is damaged from operating a 5" gun turret in the Navy... They ALL sound sweet and crispy...

I am deploying a new set of Aerius combos, Anthem 1 series (including the anthem cd) and MITerminator cables. Sounds killer but I have been using a sunfire sub and seem to be sensing a nervous low freq. presence. It seems to go away with the addition of loud party crouds and alcohol:rocker:

but in the quiet setting... it is there again...

That could be part of it... the room is hardwood with plenty of features and draperies. I am wondering if the Carver sub is feeding back to my pre-amp!

Some horrible, inaudible low frequency thing... It doesn't do it on the Marantz
setup in my theater room.

I am using a single mono feed with an MTX cable.
