The New York Times ran an article on Sunday 1/13 about famous chef Eric Ripert, mainly about the fact that he's an audiophile and a fan of Martin Logan speakers. Looks like he's got a pair of Monoliths as far as I can tell from the picture, and the author's pun where he calls them 'stereoliths'.

I've scanned it to PDF and zipped to attach here...

Enjoy,
Jason

Very interesting! No doubt a bunch of NY ML dealers will be getting calls asking how to order these "Stereoliths" :D

Umm, them's a pair of Requests.

The Monoliths have the wood trim laterally (on the side of the speaker) from top to bottom (it's a functional part of the frame).

The picture just makes the Requests look even bigger due to angles.

Oh, and the little joke about fidelity at the end, cute ;)

I've rarely cheated on my ... Speakers. I only listen to dynamic speakers at friends homes, and sometimes I cover my ears :p
