A ways back my roommate gave me his old Ipod Mini (first generation). I think the battery was going bad and opted not to fix it and bought another one. I ordered a replacement battery and would like to use the Ipod for my garage gym (and maybe also as a tabletop unit as well).
Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't need really loud levels...something better than an alarm clock radio, but likely don't need something akin to a large 'boombox.'
I saw that Cambridge Soundworks has a unit for $150 or so - looks pretty decent and I like that brand. I also heard the Beats by Dr. Dre and really liked that one, but it's a bit pricey at $400.
