Design upgradable loudspeaker.

People would chose the panel they want, had the bass, crossover module and amp.

Then if they want more and better bass, watt or better panel, it would be possible to do so.

Like turntable: you can choose your turntable, your arm and cartridge. You can always upgrade if you wish to do so.

I don't know if it would make sense for them from a business perspective, but it sure would be nice for us end users.
I used to own an Arcam CDP that was upgradeable (the old Alpha series). All you needed was a new board to upgrade the DAC(s) from Alpha 7 to 8 to 8SE to 9.
Problem is nowadays that manufacturers change their current models so often it would be difficult for them to support older models.
