I have ordered a new center channel speaker and I am hoping to change around my system configuration a little bit. My intent is to find a shelf that I can use to place the new center speaker on top of the TV, then I will move my audio components under the TV on the TV stand, and that will allow me to move my speakers a little closer to the display and push muy sub back into the corner.
The dimensions for the new center speaker are 35" wide x 12" hight x 12" deep. The speaker weighs 40 pounds.
The center channel shelfs I've been able to locate so far are too small to accommodate this speaker and they have a max weight tolerance of 15-20 lbs. I know I've seen some set-ups with pretty big speakers on a TV shelf, but I can't remember where I've seen them.
Please let me know if you know of such a product and where it can be purchased.
