    Turntable Mats

Yes, they do include a spacer for the armboard as well.

    Turntable Mats

LOL Yes, they do. Otherwise it would be a pain to get the LP centered.... The Hyperspace and Dais have an extended spindle on the bearing shaft so they don't need the spacer.

    Turntable Mats

I use a Boston Audio Mat 1 on my Nottingham Space 294. It is a 3mm thick piece of carbon graphite. IMO it just drains vibrations from the LP and gets out of the way. I like it much better than the foam mat supplied with the Nottingham tables and better than using no mat at all on the damped...

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

You are partially correct. The correct title is The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking. One of my ELO favs too!

Rich, I sent you a PM with the name. Doug should know it by the corner, and I want to hear it from him.:D

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

Doug, remember we were talking about this LP....(the second one). I do have it. I either used it or guessed it in an Album cover game at another forum (of which I am in the lead).

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

Burke and David, it was great hooking up with you again! I got home last night ~9:30 and was going to upload the pictures. The wife asks me "Don't you have to work days tomorrow?" Oh yeah, 3AM wake up call. Here is a link to Photobucket with the images from the Chicago Audio Society meeting on...

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

Thanks for the kind words Doug. I have some experience, but I don’t consider myself a vinyl guru. I belong to a small, local group at another forum. We have occasional get togethers and try different speakers/gear. Like it has been mentioned, the fun is experiencing different music, gear...

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

I never meant to imply you were bashing Burke’s hard work. And I never meant to imply that. After rereading the post, I felt I should continue an unfinished discussion that Burke that I had started Sunday at the CAS get together, so I edited it while you were quoting it. In that discussion, I...

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

You might be right. I have to say I was disappointed with the 10b’s bass in that room. Since the 10b’s are very similar to my MK III’s, I know they are capable of better. The 10b’s bass actually sounded better outside the room, in the hallway at the dining room. Could that mean the room...

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

Just have time for a quick pic upload. The second shot is either creative blur of David's fine pre amp tubes, or an old guy who can't hold a camera steady for an existing light shot. Burke, thanks for having me over. The food and drink were excellent! It was great meeting all of you! Gotta...

I'm still in for Sunday Burke. Looking forward to meeting you and the other denizens of the ML forum that will be attending.

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

Burke, thanks for the invitation. Please put me down for Sunday the 8th. Let me know if I can bring anything. This is based on direct communication with Roger so it should be accurate. The 10b's are like the Eros MK III's. Both share the Ultrastat panel design. The transmission line bass...

Chicago Shooutout: ML Summits vs Sanders 10b

Burke, I would like to attend on either of the dates you have listed. I'd also like to pitch in with food and/or drinks. I am interested in hearing Roger's improved design crossover bass amp.

Is Roger Sanders Losing The Plot?

Burke, just a slight clarification. The remote controlled active crossover bass amp rating is 600WPC @ 4 Ohms. The Seas woofers used in the TL bass modules are 4 Ohm. The sweet spot is small, but I dispute the head in a vise. I usually sit still when in SOMA mode, so it doesn’t bother me at...

    Rocky Mountain Audio Fest

I agree. Before I acquired InnerSound Eros MK III's with the improved, remote controlled active crossover bass amp, I had the MK II's with the not so desirable XA-200 active crossover bass amp. Roger provided his active crossover specs to me so I could have Phil Marchand build me a XM44 three...
