    I'm in ML land now

May I ask why you switched from the Vista to the CLS and did you consider the move to be upward, downward or a lateral move and why?

ML Support for CLS I To Continue!

I was in the same boat and even though my original CLS panels were working fine, I ordered a new set of panels and put them in (this week in fact). Now I have to decide whether to keep the old panels as a backup or sell them off as excess.

    Vintage/classic gear

I'll have to do that. Likewise, I am filled to the brim with new speakers and amps. Let's find some time soon and share a brew and some tunes.

    Vintage/classic gear

Don't fret too much Luther, cause I am taking good care of them and just bought new panels for them as well so they will be making sweet tunes for many more years!

    Lifetime Service for MartinLogan Products

Certainly good news to hear about the lifetime service. I made a 'fast' decision to order new panels for my original CLS' when they said they were going to discontinue making them. Even though they reversed course I decided to continue getting my new panels which should arrive by mid-week. I...

New year means time for a change

Verrry nice Luther! I have a friend in town who has the 'industrial' Klipsch surrounds (that they use in theaters) and they sound phenomenal with home theater so I can only imagine how your Jubilees' sound.

How Long Have Your ML Panels Actually Lasted?

Guess I'm late to the party but my CLS 1's are now 21 years old (22 in a couple of months) and still sound clean and even (no buzzing, rattling or diminished sound levels from either panel; at least in comparison to each other). I do admit I have a number of sets of speakers so do not play them...

    ARC and ML CLS?

Both...CD Player and Turntable (with phono pre-amp attached).. Only thing I don't like about the Tact is a lack of pre-outs or sub outs for my subs. I don't like using speaker level connections for subs.

    ARC and ML CLS?

Thanks..I think I just need to wait til I get it back before I get something new. I put my Jolida 302BRC tube amp in (60wpc) and it seems to work fine. I would have to think the huge ARC would do a comparable (if not better) job as long as there is enough gain.

    ARC and ML CLS?

Oh...another possible option is a Tact M2150 digital amp that I might be able to trade for. It is 150 into 8 ohms and 300 into 4 ohms with 50amps output current. It is a pure digital amp though and not real sure how that would sound with the CLS.

    ARC and ML CLS?

I have the CLS I's and am considering different amps to run them with. Let me state up front I don't listen at loud levels, preferring low to medium levels of music. Also, the CLS will be used in a small to medium room. I know the CLS love current (especially, from what I have read the CLS...

    System #47 (CLS)

And they aren't going anywhere anytime soon! :D

    Considering ML Odyssey

I can't speak to this particular set of speakers (as I never got out to hear them before he sold them) but I do know the seller very well having bought (or sold) with him countless (20-30 sets) of speakers (plus amps, preamps, cables, etc) over the past 5 years and I've never known him to...

    Considering ML Odyssey

I'm confused Mark....Are they 'not your cup of tea' or is something wrong with them?

    Considering ML Odyssey

It's a moot point as he sold them to another fellow before I could get them. But, on a positive note, I was able to pick up Luther's CLS for my dedicated two channel room and they are great! :music: Now I'm going to have a shoot out between my DefTech BP2000TLs and my Von Schwiekert VR4s in my...
