Spending time indulging what may be the ONLY hobby that I have that is virtually without stress--kite-flying... Got a new box kite and some funky tails, and had a VERY relaxing afternoon on top of the Jockey Ridge dune...

My sweetie said, as we were hikinh up the dunes, that she'd never flown a kite. She;s my age, has lived all over the world, and has never flown a kite! So of course, after I got it put together, andtest-flew it a few times to get it adjusted, I handed the spool to her, and she had a blast. She said that she understoon now why I was so jazzed to get over to the Kitty Hawk Kites store and buy a kite. I think she's probably going to make me buy one JUST for her--a cute little Prism Kites "EO-6" in blue and purple, a collapsible box kite with a VERY unique look:
