Has anyone tried any of the tube buffers from Grant Audio or Yaqin.
Since i don't want to spend more $ on a new amp, I'm trying
to smooth out my MF A5 Integrated/Spire combo. Yes, i'm
trying to go the cheap route.

You'll smooth them out for sure but at what cost? Tube buffers will make everything sound the same, I can't recommend them in good faith, sorry.

Why don't you try contacting the "Cable Company" to find some wire that has a "warm" sonic signature. They have many options and you can audition in your system.

May not be the cheapest way to go but could be within your budget and resolve your issue.

Well, Grant has a tube buffer on sale for $150 and a DAC with
tube outputs on sale at $275. What do you mean it'll make everything
sound the same ?

Buffers traditionally go between the preamp and the amp or in a processor loop in which case every source passes through the buffer and usually takes on the sonic character of the buffer, which usually isn't all that good, IME. For CD only the DAC is probably a better choice.
