Hey all
I'm pondering whether I'll improve on my current system by adding a pair of supertweeters. I can't see them doing a great deal of harm, but despite having read up on their 'benefits' I'm not sure how well they'll integrate with MLs.
And for the same reason, I don't really want to go mad price-wise, so I've been trying (and failing miserably) to pick up some of the old Realistic supers. I figure that at the sort of prices they go for secondhand, I can afford to move them on again if they don't add anything new. Failing those, these strike me as being a half decent alternative (yeah - I know someone's knocked them up in a shed, but hey . . . )
System is fed by a modded Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista Pre and modded MF XA-200s.
Finally, if I do pick up a set, can I just run them by taking a feed off the existing powers or do I need to do something different?
Thoughts and advice gratefully received.
Cheers
Neil
