Sequel II - Wooden rails

I want to remove the wooden rails from my Sequel II's so I can refinish them and repaint the woofer enclosure.
Q1 - How are the wooden rails fitted & therefore removed?
Q2 - Can I simply paint over the woofer enclosure paint with matt blackboard paint?

Hi Kenni,

I had my Quest z's repainted at a car body shop in Hasa Road in Al Quoz, on the left going in from Shaikh Zayed Road. The original black paint on the MLs goes 'off'. We settled on Toyota Onyx Black with a few coats of clear to make for a piano finish.

You will have to take them fully apart but it is worth the effort.

I can't remember the name of the outfit but they resprayed Porsches and did a superb job.
