Hi Jason,

Did buy the Love Over Gold / SHM CD.

Who knows about the material used but it sounds pretty darn good. Definitely better than the standard CD release, which was above average. Whether you think the price is justified would depend on how much you really like (listen to often) and how articulate your system is. I would compare the difference to a regular CD versus the HDCD (Keith Johnson processing) version.

I also bought the Japanese SACD version of Dark Side. Scary good.

Blue-Spec is discussed in March 2009 Hi-Fi News. It's a good issue - recommend you grab a copy.

Includes an SME 30/12 review by Ken Kessler for all you analogue guys.
