And the sony was damaged during shipping. There's a huge dent on the top.

Paul said he has some spare cases. So it's a cheap fix. The player seems to be working OK. Either way, that must've been a helluva whack to cause that big of a dent.

Take the cover off...throw it away...and cut all the tiewraps and spread the wires...now your talking a big soundstage!
