I highly recommend the current (still beta) version of Album Art Downloader... http://sourceforge.net/projects/album-art/

This is an entirely new rewrite of the old program (which was barely usable). This latest version is incredible, as you can configure it to query over 25 websites, and it will find covers for even the most obscure out-of-print titles. In less than 30 mins, I d/l almost all the cover art I've been missing. I'm running it on Win7, but don't know if it's MAC compatible.

I have hardly any cover art, and I have looked at this, with another one that looked better. It was called E-MIX cover downloader. At the end of the day, it's still a lot of work for something I care little about.

How did you configure this to run? Since you're running Squeezebox Server, did you configure it to put "cover.jpg" in the directory of the album, or something else?

I merely directed it to the music directory on my NAS, and it checked every album. When you add the art, it places a cover.jpg in the appropriate directory.

Before getting the Squeezebox Touch (and the new Squeeze Control app for my Palm Pre) I didn't really care about album art. But now that I can display them, I won't ever go back to plain text!
