I wonder if one can bypass the onboard amps for the panels.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
What's the point of buying an active speaker only to bypass the internal amp? If one was planning to do that then why not just buy a passive speaker in the first place?

I think there is a viable market for a quality active speaker. I'll reserve judgement until I hear one. However, I think it will be a while before they are up to the high standard that we are used to.

They must be using an ICE Power amp (or two?) to drive the woofer and panel.

To reduce wear-and-tear on your precious tubes, saving them for music listening. No sense of burning up your tubes for home-theater.
