Just watched my daily jazz video from a really cool site called "Jazz on the tube" J.O.T.T. is a jazz video search engine and they e-mail me a different jazz video every day. This is footage discovered in archives and shared with jazz lovers.
The sound quality is what you'd expect from 50+ year old tv shows and concerts and streamed on U-tube, etc. I just hooked up (rigged with a lot of Radio Shack parts) a MiniWatt 2.5 wpc tube amp to my computer and listen through AKG 701 headphones. Not exactly Hi-Fi, but I love seeing the old stand up bass players and studying their technique.
