Front tilt and Great results

Remember Greglett,.... these are big Quest speakers and the panels are 6 ft at the top . Smaller speakers probably wont need as much forward tilt.

I tried the slight front tilt, as oppose to level. I didn't hear any difference in SQ.
I returned them to level. Level was a marked improvement over the back tilt.

Finally got around to trying the forward tilt today.

I normally keep my Odysseys at a slight tilt towards the rear.

I did not like the sound when they were tilted forward. It did bring the soundstage down and forward a few feet, then I had to adjust the toe-in outward a little bit to get the sweet spot at my normal listening position.

Mind you it wasn't bad I just prefer the soundstage up high, sounds like the musicians are up on stage, with me in the audience.When tilted forward sounded more like wearing a pair of headphones.

I guess it's just a matter of personel preference.:cheers:
