Damaged Ascent i

My wife spilled wine on the lower part of the panel. Now I'm getting very little sound out of it.

Of course it had to happen on a long weekend. Anything I can do?

Hola. Because of the wine moisture, the panel is weak. You can use a compressed air to take most of the humidity. Use the vacuum cleaner too. Be patience. Wait until it evaporates, then you will have the panel back to sing along again. Happy listening.

Do you think the x-over might be damaged? I am getting a little sound out of it.

Unplug it and stop playing it. I suspect the wine is shorting the diaphragm to the stators, causing low output.
This may be a case where showering just the panel is helpful. I would not like dried wine residue in my speakers...
