April , 1, 2009.....a day that will be sad for all of us, for as I'm sure most of you know the 'Feds' begin to tax the devil out of us. Yes I have no problem with saving the children but .... it's their irresponsible parents that really made this mess !

So as the 'Sun sets' on our affordable cigar pricing...stock up by months end !

Brian, I know you're well on the way there !

no not really Tone that's just what I have heard do you know the fact's?

That's why I asked...

Also, your post is somewhat misleading as it suggests that Illinois is raising your taxes to 50% of your income, when they are raising the personal income tax from 3% to 5%, which is usually taxed on your net income, isn't it?

Sure it still sucks, but not quite as horrific as you are making it sound. If they pass it and you still hate your life, move to washington. there is no personal income tax there....

Nice 'stash' there Brian, I see you prefer the larger ring size as do I.
I just recently enjoyed the last of my Romeo & Julieta Cuban Churchills.

I too will be filling my locker at the cigar shop and my two large humidors at home. Even the everyday smokes that one buys buy the bundle will be going up $8-10 per bundle on 4/1.

why is everyone seem to be kind of hard on me lately?
do I come across like an Ahole sometimes? if I do I assure you I am much nicer in person I think my personality does not translate well within this format sometimes.

If they could figure out a way to do it, they would tax the air we breath. Call it something like "The Excessive Oxygen Use" tax. Cuz, you really don't need all that air.

Btw Dave, that's a great photo. Damn, I need a vacation!

Fish man I didnt mean to sound like i was coming down on you or anyone else that i respond to especially when I am agreeing with you. If you interpeted that way I apoligise.

Taxes are killing our road to prosperity, taxing businesses and the so called rich only stifles our productivity and growth. Instead of government bail outs I would like to see some real tax cuts for businesses that hire people because they need to not because of government mandates.

We are in trouble in the banking and auto industry because of government regulations now we are going to let the govt. run these businesses?

Headline this morning : White House to Hunt for New Tax Revenues

If the govt. would let us keep more of our own money we would most likely spend it wisely.

your right some real tax breaks would help a lot. the government needs to realize they can't save everyone and just get out of the way and let us do what we do best
