Atma-sphere S-30

I have a chance to buy a Atma-sphere S-30 locally just wondering if anybody has tried running Sequel panels with only 30 watts and what their experience was. I'm biamping.

I tried the MA-1 Mk II.3 on Summits

I have a chance to buy a Atma-sphere S-30 locally just wondering if anybody has tried running Sequel panels with only 30 watts and what their experience was. I'm biamping.

Even though the Summits have a powered woofer, the panels drop way to low in impedence as frequency rises. So without autoformers, the 140 amp sounded dull and lifeless. These are really great amps, but cannot really drive such difficult loads on thier own. That has been my experience while just shopping for new amplification......Steve
