hmmm, i seem to remember them discussed here a few years back. if i recall correctly, they were supposed to simulate a large amount of space behind the aerius so that you could put them back against the wall and get the effect of them pulled out from the back wall.

These do what we attempt to do when placing absorption behind our ESL’s, and that’s to tame the high-frequency reflections off the back wall (to reduce comb-filtering) and to limit the lower-frequency rear wave from canceling the front wave at mid-bass frequencies.

As noted, if you have your Aerius close to the wall, these will definitely help.

At this price, it’s steal and a no-brainer to try (if you have an Aerius that is ).
