I love my AudioEngine 2s for my computer 2.0 system. However, I've been wondering if maybe some Motion 2 or Motion 4s wouldn't be a better setup :) Anyone have any experience with AE2s v Motion compacts? Anyone running Motion compacts for their computer stereo? Would a 30x2 channel amp be enough?

To answer the OP, I had Bower & Wilkins 685s for a week before I couldn't stand it anymore and got the ESLs. And yes, mine are more upright than stock :)

As I understand it, the foot/spike assembly is standard spike threading. Should be an easy replacement.

Had listened to it on B&W 685s and was let down - by the speakers. Didn't sound natural. On the EM ESLs, it's amazing. Robbie McIntosh on the slide guitar is phenominal, Mayer can play too - love these guys together and when David Ryan Harris joins them it gets even better! 3 great guitarists...

Second worst thing on the fantastic EM ESL are the spikes, first being the binding "posts". Anyone upgraded these with some proper, adjustable spikes? These speakers are too good to have these cheap posts and spikes.
