Just a question, but I thought the PS3 doesn't have support for high res audio and was told that it can only produce DVD quality sound. Is that true?

I was told once that any time your ears ring you lose the ability to hear the frequency that you hear ringing. I'm not sure how accurate this statement is, but I thought I would throw it out there. Probably just need to clean your speakers, maybe a good wash. Should be a simple fix.
