    Arc Damage

I am again thousands of miles from you... La-tee-da... just have to refurb my panels myself. The only option. You see, new panels are also a problem. The owner of the company that was the agent for ML in South Africa died in December last year and the company collapsed - I actually bought...

    Wood trims

Thanx CAP... I am actually re-doning the panels as well - new mylar etc. I want a "natural" finish on the frames. Textured if you want. I dont think a "glass like" finish will be worth the effort - a slight bump and the whole thing is ruiend. Would you suggest I stain the frames black - or...

Mini Review – Martin Logan CLS II

Mini Review – Martin Logan CLS II Initially I was a bit skeptical about the CLS II panel’s sound. The tight sweet-spot and somewhat scattered soundstage confused me. It has been 4 years since I sold my QUAD 57 electrostats and forgot the nature of panel speakers. Doing a direct comparison to...

    Previous/current QUAD ESL57 users here?

I have used/owned 4 QUAD ESL57 speakers for a number of years and grew rather fond of them... had to sell them due to space limitations. Last week I suddenly became the owner of a set of ML CLS panels.... quite different in sonics - any ESL57 user will recognize their sound a mile away...
