I used to think I needed separates too. Watch Dr Vojtko on youtube about amps. An 8 Ohm amp will handle a martin logan as long as you're not playing above the amps capability. He says we test all sorts of amps on our speakers and they all just work with no issues...

My setup is EFX front and rear and going 11.1 shortly. I have no other measuring devices except XT32. I'm not interested in using REW, Omnimic, Antimode etc. I'm just curious if the low pass filter settings file can be done via the standard dials on a sub? Otherwise I'll go with the BalanceForce...

I have ML EFX. How hard would it be to adjust the low frequencies to that of what the filters would do? Could you just use a program to read the filters and configure those settings onto a non ML sub?
