Hi
So I guess the answer is not by multimeter and if you can’t hear it then how do you know if it’s working?
I couldn’t hear anything so how can you test them?

Hi
I have some Tasket modules can you advise how to test them? Can I just use a multimeter on the ohms setting?
What reading should I expect 8 ohms ?
Many thanks

Not exactly sure if the suggested tweeter operates much above 18mhz The specified range., but I have been using them for some time with my Aeons. Does it make a difference, well I have not...
Hi
I built three dc blockers following the circuit given in the link below
https://sound-au.com/articles/xfmr-dc.htm
The circuit is towards the end of the article figure 8. They are now installed one in each speaker (Aeon) and one for the amps, DAC etc. I only used cheap capacitors 6 4700uf...
Hi
Thanks for the replies however I understand about the results on amplifiers but wondered what effect they when connected ML’s electrostics via the mains plug.
Has anybody tried this?

William
Hi
I have been reading about DC on mains AC circuits and I was wondering if Ml’s would benefit from the use of a dc blocker. From my understanding it appears they are used to reduce transformer hum. While I have never noticed any, I guess that’s because they are enclosed in the cabinet.
Does...
Hi Guys
Just to close this thread out I did contact Martin Logan and they stated that the finish on my Aeons was ‘Nextel’ I have found a supplier in the UK so that will be my next step.
Hope this helps

Hi
Thanks for the input. If you are lucky enough to have a dedicated listening room then I expect room treatments will/should be not be that much of a problem however in a domestic setting is totally different. So the option of optimizing the outputs as it were would seem to be the best option...
Hi Guys
I wonder if you can clear up my confusion which is basically loudspeaker response and room response.
I have just watched the following
Which deals with speaker response that I interpret to be setting up your system to account for all elements of your system including cables etc...
Hi
I decided to use the one recommended in the article because it can be used as a dipole which should fit in with rest of the speaker.
As to the crossover frequency I will try a few capacitors. I hoping that it will just reenforce top end, perhaps the last couple of thousand kHz. I guess it...
