I purchased in Sept 2011 a pair of Martin Logan Spires :music: The first few months was difficult during break in period but have to say I still amazed at sound quality of these speakers and how seamless the panel is from woofer section:rocker: Even when rocking out the volume in high 90s...

Used Aeon vs new Electromotion ESL

I have not been here for a little while and been very happy with Martin Logan Spires which I purchased in Oct... I work at shop where these Aeons were sold. Younger guys at shop are not fans of Logan speakers and I feel they should let customer choose what is best. I advised that the 1986...

    Puck it!

Same problems with windows in living room too, 1920s windows but have porch in front of house which helps keep cold away from original windows. Seems dependent on music playing Dire Straits, Katy Perry, Faith Hill does not effect windows or door? Seems every 3rd or fourth recording causes issues...

A perfect amp for Martin Logans

I have owned Anthem Statement amplifiers in the past. Speaking from personal experience using with ML, not the same league as McIntosh, Classe or Krell. In the 90s Loved the Sonic Frontiers tube products and yes they worked wonderful with the ML SL3s I had at the time. System synergy is a big...

Summit X to CLX - is it worth it?

Too me the advantage of the CLX over other ML models is that electrostatic panels cover range from 56hz and up in CLX compared to 270 hz and up in other models... If your room is large enough to work with CLX, I feel it is better than the Summit X. Sadly for me, my room not big enough for CLX...
