Good luck with your quests! I currently own a pair, bought them last year used with new panels and original drivers and X-overs. They sound great with my parasound halo A-21 amp. They would sound better with the pass x-250, but thats out of my budget.

Anyone have experience with the original monster sigma M cables? These are the cables from the 80's that are over an inch thick and came in a black suitcase. I find these pretty good as i got these used cheap, but otherwise I hate all other monster cable.

Hi- currently use the parasound A-21 amp with a B&K preamp that drives my ML- Quests. Excellent. This amp compares with the pass X-250 stereo version and I heard them with these speakers side by side and although the pass beats it out, for the money the halo A21 is a great bang for the buck.

my friend has used both pass x150 and pass x250 with the ML vantages and works great together as the pass is a very powerful amp.

Thanks guys, those are really good ideas! You do have a point with the ML's being large speakers in the first place, I am suprised myself that my wife even likes speakers that large, but she finds that she likes the sound from them as much as I do!!:music:

As Kaboomnash said, I am looking for cable management also, as the original power cords that came with my cd, amp are so long, I have tons of wire hanging out the back and sides of my stereo system. So while I would get shorter lenghths of wire, I would hopefully hear some improvement in sound...

thanks guys for your replies, learned a lot in this forum, especially after I got my ML quests. I bought these quests used and got the original power cords with them, and was surprised my dealer never mentioned upgrading the power cords, especially since he sells them and he can make a few $$.
