    So the speaker is incoming!!

Joey, You may want to consider the Mapeshade Samson line of racks as well, Very heavy, stable, and easy to adjust / customize, I really like mine, If you are driving a van up to Chicago, let me know and I will send you home with some room treatments. --burke

So the (digital) source is incoming!

See the pictures of my media room in the "Room within a room project" http://www.martinloganowners.com/forum/showthread.php?8051-The-Room-with-in-a-Room-Project The panels are really copies of the GIK's 4x2 feet but without a frame and designed to be caputured by lightwieght steel studs. See...

    Nas

I am using a Sonos media server. and a Pioneer SC-65 receiver, Both can access the NAS. The NAS is a supermicro server board, xeon processor and 32BG of ram. This is primarily for a set of the computers I use for work (hence the need for speed) But it holds the music just fine.

A just built a NAS. http://www.freenas.org/ The project is all in the public domain. You just have to buy the hardware and assemble it. If you are at all computer savvy it is a breeze. Performance is a function dollars. (bigger cpu, memory, network card = more performance) I built my...

    Wine & Cheese Thread

I'll vouch for the Cakebread CabSauv. I was in the wine club for about ten years and stop in when I am in the Napa Valley. My current favorite is the Regusi from the Stags Leap region.
