If there's no official agent, importer or distributor for ML in South Africa, you can order them directly from ML USA in Kansas. Probably works out even cheaper then using an agent, if I look at the inflated prices for replacements parts and panels in Europe. Adri.

If you have a friend in the US, he could order the panels for you and ship them to Uruquay for you. I don't think ML will ship directly from the US to Uruquay. Installing the new panels is easy, instructions are included, so you could do that yourself. New panels would be in the $600-900 range...

If there is a distributor for Uruguay, then Jim will direct him to the distributor. ML only does direct sales in the US and countries without a distributor/importer. Adri.

I just replaced the panels on my ML Quest speakers and they did not have ClearSpars :( Panels were manufactured in May 2006 and as far as I know, Quest and ReQuest panels are essentially the same. Adri.

When you buy them in the US, don't forget to invest in a large 220-110 Volts transformer! The US Models run ONLY on 110 volts. Adri.

I guess US customers are lucky. I just ordered replacement panels for my Quests. Cost: 1525 euro = $1900! I seems shipping these panels to Europe is expensive. :-) Adri.

I ended up buying a Krell FPB-400cx and it's a very nice combination. Rich, deep, yet very tight and controlled bass. Also very detailed soundstage and excellent mid-range. Thanks to everyone for their input. Adri.
